The National Youth Advocacy Coalition has developed a specific set of capacity building services designed to enhance your organization's ability to serve the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning and intersex (LGBTQI) youth community.

During these times of progress, it is important that the voice of organizations devoted to the well-being of LGBTQI youth is heard. During these times of economic hardship, it is important that organizations have support systems in place to help them weather this storm. The NYAC Network is designed to do both. Your organization is invited to join the Network and become a member of an elite group of organizations committed to ensuring that LGBTQI youth are provided safe and nurturing services and the opportunity to grow into healthy adults ready to lead the LGBTQI civil rights movement.
As a member of the Network, your organization will receive services including:
• Access to a 'Members Only' section of the NYAC website
• Access to the Network listserv designed to promote networking
• Complimentary copies of NYAC publications
• Technical Assistance on fundraising, online solicitation and grant writing
• Invitations to the NYAC reception at Creating Change
• Access to NYAC's Youth Institute at Creating Change
• Youth internship opportunities and a seat on the Youth Accountability Council
• Website and database hosting
• Emergency advocacy in times of public tragedy and/or fiscal crisis
In addition, members of the Network will be:
• Invited to attend quarterly conference calls with the NYAC Executive Director
• Represented on the NYAC Board of Directors
• Highlighted in NYAC's newsletter and on the NYAC blog and website
• Offered opportunities to partner with NYAC
• Provided advanced notice of NYAC publications and initiatives
• Represented in NYAC Network Survey
NYAC is committed to supporting LGBTQI youth-serving organizations during these hard economic times. Memberships in the NYAC Network start at $50 per year, though no organization will be denied membership based on inability to pay.
