    NYAC Logo Use

The National Youth Advocacy Coalition logo, as revised in May 2008, is now available with two different taglines: "National Youth Advocacy Coalition" or "Building a Generation of Impact." In most casing the "National Youth Advocacy Coalition" tagline should be used, unless specifically told otherwise.

    Choosing a Tagline

Full-color logoNational Youth Adovcacy Coalition tagline, generally this is the tagline that you should always be using, unless explicidly told otherwise.

Generation of Impact tagline, Full-color logoshould only be used when you are explicitidly told to do so. This tagline is generally only used in instances where the National Youth Advocacy Coalition tagline logo has appeared one or more times.

    Choosing a Color Scheme

Full-color logoFull color, for normal print and web use. The background color should usually be white. The full-color logo is available in both two-color (PMS) format and four-color (CMYK) format.

Black-and-white logoBlack, for use in black-and-white printing or photocopying. The background color should normally be white, or a light color.

Gray logoGrayscale, black logotype with gray tagline.

Reverse logoReversed, for use on dark-colored backgrounds.

File Formats For Professional Design Work
    and Outside Vendors

Each color of logo is available as as an EPS file generated from Adobe Illustrator. This EPS file can be resized from very small to very large without any loss in image quality. All EPS files are compatible with Illustrator CS2 and later.

This format is suitable for professional design work using software such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, QuarkXPress, and Adobe InDesign. This is the file format that should be provided to outside vendors such as designers, print shops, and sign/banner vendors.

For In-Office Printing from Your Desktop Computer

Full-color and black-and-white logos are available in TIFF format for use in word-processing documents, including Microsoft Word files, and any other files that you will be printing in-office.

Image quality in TIFF files diminishes as you enlarge (scale up) the file, so use caution when resizing these images larger than their 4-inch width.

    For Web and On-Screen Display

Each color of logo is available in GIF, JPEG, and PNG format for on-screen display only, including web sites, e-mails, and PowerPoint files.

PNG files better support transparency for use over background images in PowerPoint (although using the logo over a colored background is discouraged).

Image quality in these files diminishes as you enlarge (scale up) the files, so you should pick the GIF or PNG file with the dimensions that most closely match your required use.
