Creating a Risks to Resilience U-Turn for LGBTQI2-S Youth

Families comprising of a parent, child, or youth who is lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex, two-spirit (LGBTQI2-S) or transitioning navigate varying levels of acceptance and support when accessing and utilizing needed healthcare services. Peter Gamache, co-author of "Assets-Based Approaches for LGBTQI2-S Youth and Families in Systems of Care," will guest facilitate this important webinar and will provide ...a research agenda to develop an inclusive and asset-based system of care to meet the needs of youth and families who are LGBTQI2-S and to support the development and enhancement of promising approaches to serve this population. Peter Gamache, MBA, MLA, MPH, Ph.D. candidate conducts research, monitoring and program evaluation for public and private organizations. He serves on federal and local quality improvement boards, designs programs to reduce health disparities, and provides technical assistance to improve health outcomes.
