Registering to vote is easy, thanks to the amazing folks at Rock the Vote. Just click on this link, fill in the form with your information, print, and mail.

The requirements for registering and the deadlines are different for each state. This site will tell you all you need to know about how to register in your state. You'll also find the necessary links to contacting your state office about the election details.

If you move, be sure to let the state know about your change of address or re-register if you've moved to another state. This goes for college students on the move – if you are within your home state or out of state, you must re-register with every new address or arrange to vote absentee from your home county.

Voter Cards

After you register, you should receive a voter card as a confirmation, usually in six to eight weeks after you send in your form. Many voter cards contain information about where you'll go to vote on election, so even though you don't need to show it to anyone in order to vote it's still useful to carry on your person on election day.

If you lose it, or the information on the card is wrong, you can contact your state office for help.
